A valid question! And one that some of my readers might be asking, since the title of this website *is* Phone Sex Jobs dot com.
Well. My original vision for this site when I purchased the domain back in 2002 was to have a place to help women who were looking for work in this field. I’d witnessed too many horror stories and I wanted to help PSO’s avoid some of the pitfalls and “sharks” in sheep’s clothing that lurk around in the online phone sex industry. I had seen women misled about jobs, women who worked and weren’t paid, women who had their time wasted by people who never had any intention of hiring them.
As well as informing people about the dangers, I wanted to support PSO’s & aspiring PSO’s & keep them well informed about opportunties & resources in the field. I had considered the idea of having paid classifieds but only accepting ads from companies I felt were reputable. I also considered the idea of having a database of all possible companies. But these things existed and still exist elsewhere. I also had originally planned to add a phone sex forum to this site where phone sex workers could help each other & share experiences with companies - but then so many other PSO communities started to crop up, some of which I was heavily involved in, and it just seemed redundant to start my own. There are currently several active communities which serve as good resources and they are linked here in the sidebar under “PSO Forums” for anyone who is not familiar with them.
So…I decided at first to just set up a skeleton site with some info and few unpaid links to companies that I knew were reputable & decent to work for…and just left the site alone for a while.
Recently, I decided to install the blog here so I could publish items of interest along with my own opinions & perspective on things. I don’t update regularly but do update when I feel there is something important to say : )
Now…about those job ads. When I set up the Phone Sex Jobs blog, I decided to just continue my policy of listing links to phone sex companies who I feel are reputable (you’ll find those in the sidebar too) along with links to the employment forums, adult employment sites & PSO communities where you can research on your own. I may in the future expand on the phone sex job listing aspect of this site but for now, the best way to use this site to find phone sex work is to use the links I’ve provided in the sidebar. You can rest assured that no one has paid to advertise a job here and you can also rest assured that my judgement to link directly to a company that I believe is “reputable” comes from 7 years of doing phonesex work & adult webmaster-ing & being a very active participant in online phone sex worker communities for those same 7 years.
It doesn’t mean that any company I didn’t list here is NOT reputable, though.
It just means that companies I DO list, I feel are trustworthy.
Happy job hunting!
